Fabra Membership

Established in 2009, Fabra is committed to bio-security in a low-carbon food chain. Our aims include:

  1. Pursuing technical advances for its members and the industry it represents
  2. Promoting food chain and biomass recycling
  3. Representing members in dialogue with Government, its agencies, food chain partners and consumers.

Our founding members process more than 65% of UK animal by-products and securely process food residues, as well as producing green energy, valuable products for feed and petfood, and by-products for oleo-chemical, pharmaceutical and construction industries, amongst others.

Fabra memberships are available to companies who wish to support its work, have access to its knowledge, affiliate with other full and allied members and who fall into one of these groups.

Food chain partners: Companies engaged in the production, processing, distribution and retailing  of food products, and more specifically those active in the meat chain

Associations: Non-profit organisations that have a common interest in animal by-product, green energy and food residue issues.

Fabra also offers a Reciprocal Membership to industry associations sharing similar or common interests. This membership is dependent on reciprocal terms with the applying organisation.
