The Foodchain and Biomass Renewables Association (Fabra) exists to pursue technical advances for its members and for an industry dedicated to biosecurity in a low-carbon foodchain. Fabra is committed to the promotion of foodchain and biomass recycling, and to improving communication and developing closer links with the food industry, working constructively with UK and European regulators, legislators and influencers.
The Association has five founder members, each committed to a common goal:
Biosecurity in a low-carbon foodchain.
Fabra founder members are Dundas Chemical Company, Linergy, PDM Group, John Pointon & Sons and P Waddington & Co. Together they share responsibility for the majority of the UK’s meat by-product processing capacity, providing essential food and environmental services and producing a variety of bio-fuels and renewable energy resources.
